For some reason I always think of a shoe whenever I see the 1 series. Can't say that I am much of a fan. Guess I'll see what the final car can do.

So are they calling it the 1M and not the M1 because of the car from 30yrs ago that probably hardly anyone knows about?

I actually like the 1 series. I just dont understand the M version of this car if the announced specs are correct. Its just too close to the 135i.

I think that BMW is sensitive to not step on the M3's toes.

Yeah I really like the 1 series, a few of my neighbors have them since they work at the factory and they are smart looking cars. Hopefully he comes home with one camo'd up so I can take a peak and see what's in store for the M series but I think they just build the SUV's here now.
