BM Strikes Again

http://thetruthaboutcars.com/content...9408/index.php

Call the men in white coats!

And our favorite martian responds...or maybe he's in the conspiracy too! Or maybe BM is in on it as well...he's secretly in cahoots with Wagoner to bring GM down! Or maybe...

Once again, this shows that Buickman will seemingly do anything to further his cause.

Ladies and Gentlemen. It is now 2am. I am sitting in Cobo Hall in our office within the Chevy Exhibit. The Tahoe Hybrid is in plain sight of where I'm sitting.

I can ASSURE YOU that the Tahoe Hybrid is a real vehicle...and has all the hybrid components. It runs on hybrid power. I touched the components myself. (if he'd like to have forensics performed to see my finger prints.....)

Moreover, next to it is a cutaway chassis that demonstrates how the system works. I know because I had it built for the Chevy Exhibit.

If this does not convince everyone that this man is nothing but publicity-hungry, nothing will.

I'm offended and outraged that this man will seemingly go to no length to get headlines.

Re: BM Strikes Again

Thats crazy. But the best way to get rid of this problem, I think, is to ignore this guy...Or make a bunch of funny photochops of him.

Re: BM Strikes Again

If the Chevy piece is a phoney, then so is the Chrysler piece. That means they both spent all that time and money for nothing......sure, that makes sense...

Re: BM Strikes Again

Obviously you missed me so here is a encore:

Oldsmobile used to deliver over ONE MILLION units in a single year, until GM ran it into the ground. You had better believe that hurt. I am amazed by some of the comments people make, like cutting 30,000 jobs is good and bankruptcy is OK, being number two doesn't matter, and give Wagoner a couple more years.
York was correct about equality of sacrifice, sense of crisis mode, and perform or get out. Cutting the dividend makes a lot of sense when we're bleeding cash.
There are other answers though, like eliminating the jobs bank, not by cutting the people loose, but by actually putting them to work, what a concept!
Most importantly, the focus needs to be on increasing revenue, not more surgery. This is where Return to Greatness comes into play. It's high time GM implemented this plan which immediately lowers marketing costs, utilizes effective, proven successful principles, and puts GM back in favor amongst the American car buying public.
If G Richard Wagoner wasn't a crook, and really had the corporation's best interest at heart, he would use this plan. Instead he won't, or can't, even tell us what his plan is, or when GM will turn a profit.
...and this guy is still Chairman? WAKE UP & ASK WHY???

When do you think Oldsmobile's problems started? Just curious.

Cutting the dividend is a last-resort option, and GM is not even on the same planet as that resort. Right now doing so would hurt more than it helps. Since the dividend has been unchanged for so long, cutting it would hurt investor confidence, and GM would lose shareholders. They would end up losing more money than they save.

Blame the unions for that!

Typical BM... he LIES about the hybrid, then responds by spewing off totally non-realated stuff about Oldsmobile.

You have ZERO credibility. You've become a farse. Few believed you, now I suspect that number will fall even further.

C&G supported you (they may still) and it's drug their name through the mud, IMO... even the reponse there has been totally negative to you... it's over. Conscentrate on actually helping GM like you claim... try to sell more Buicks.

Correction: You're trying to drag our name through mud by suggesting we supported him. We cover news. The Truth About Cars is a pretty big website last time I checked and they covered BM. Again, we cover news, so please try not to make any insinuation.

You have defended his radical, unsubstantiated positions on several occasions (your choice), and have really promoted his jargon more than any other site (that I visit, anyway), save his own... that's fine... that's your choice. It's also my choice to think less of C&G because of it.

Even your own users have become tired of him as evidenced by threads on C&G dealing with him.....

PS: BM is not "news". It's self-promoting propeganda.
