I think you'll get one if you get a chance to sit in it and test drive it this fall. Assuming you don't buy anything else by then of course. Every indication is that the interior is going to be on par with the F-150 (if not better). So far everything about this car is screaming quality, but time will tell. I can't imagine how nice the Cougar is going to be

Maybe you're right. Of course I haven't driven one yet, but I had a chance to really check it out at the Chicago show. The only thing probably holding me back is that on very rare occasions, my daily driver might need to carry five people.....but that's probably not a big issue.

I haven't driven the GTO either, but I've had a chance to sit in one and get a close look at afew. The "box in the trunk" is kind of a turn off...and I'm not really sure if it gets my blood flowing enough to pay the price for one.

I seem to alternate color schemes on my new cars. I will either buy black....or alternately some wilder color combo.

For Mustang GT...I'm thinking silver with a red leather interior.

My 5th gen Z/28, will of course be black.

Strange is right...the 300C is ugly, especially the high styling cues from the gawd awful looking Rolls-Royce Phantom.

300C =

Just my biased opinion

From the given choices,I voted GTO. However,I expect a new El Camino SS to be around first to change my mind.

Assuming GM comes out with either of these three before 2008, I'd consider one of them before any of the three above:

1.) El Camino SS V8 RWD (based off the Holden Ute)
2.) Chevy SSR Supercharged
3.) Chevy Silverado SS Std. Cab RWD

GTO for me.. I don't think much of the Mustang exterior design but after longing a Holden Monaro for a few years if I had to choose it would certainly win the bid.

On a side note the CTS would be a close second in front of the Chrsyler 300C

Let me know when you figure it out.

I'm having the same problem with the 300C.

I'm kind of hoping on going a little upscale next time around, like CTS-V or C6...but I'd do....GTO...Mustang...300C.

Or an '05 Vette (in 2008 )

New M5...I was not sure until I saw actual pictures a couple days ago. It's a V10...does it count

Note...I also looked at 300C, CTS-V and Escalade. The CTS-V is missing a few things I am looking for...but it is a nice car as well.

300c, yes, not the prettiest or sportiest,

but the car has something the others dont, presence.

340hp, 390tq, awd/rwd full luxury for $35k.

It is bling bling for cheap guys.

a Modern Impalla. but better. An Impalla that you can drive in any weather.

I think you've got it!

guion...I think I've got it figured out about the 300C.

It's a modern Impala SS. Except with a top notch, world class chassis (replete with E-class based components), a much better interior, lots more power and torque...and when adjusted for inflation...equivalent cost. It even comes in a similar color as the dark green on the '96 Impala SS.

The 300C is everything the Marauder tried to be, but couldn't.

It is one big, mean, green, (other colors available), honkin' machine.

I voted for the GTO, but I haven't seen any of the others in person yet. I'm already liking the 300C and Magnum, but I'll have to see them in person to decide if I like them better than the GTO or not.

Well, i should be outta school by 2007 and move to fl later that year. So money is going to be an issue, and i want to keep my SS. For me it would be the new stang...i like it but i would only get it in black with black interior or red leather.

A 2004 Mercedes E320 4Matic is cheaper in real money terms than a 300E 4Matic was in 1991! Forget inflation - Mercedes have actually gone down in initial purchase price, but stayed high in resale value.

Sadly, the 300C is branded as a Chrysler. Expect a flacid residual if you lease, and a dismal resale value in a few years if you were dumb enough to buy.

There again, the 300C might make a nifty "rental buyback." How about a Repoed GTO?

The 2005 Mustang GT is only car in the poll that is worthy of being considered as a new car buy.
