Hmm I guess the new ugly front end of the Silverado doesn't seem to hinder sales that much although there is no mention of the twin/Sierra I thought they sold a big number of them.
Also interesting to see the current F-150 still the leader considering the all new one is just around the corner...
(it is already being advertised on the Spanish stations here like the "caliente" show which is like Soul train, except they are on the beach there is a BIG YELLOW 04 F-150, I guess they are sponsored by FORD or seomthing...

Silverado is probably 11th or somewhere in the top 15. Usually when you combine the Silverado and Sierra sales they come close to the F150 sales. Not exactly a fair comparison since it does cost more to make the two variants rather than just selling lots of the one.
you know, if you combine the GMC & chevy S10/S15 and all their derivatives they should outsell the f-series
i'm also surprised that the camry bear the accord by such a small margin, seeing as the camry got a complete redesign and the accord was 5 years old

GMC Sonoma and Chevy S10 are comparable to the Ranger...not the full size trucks like F series and Silverados.
The Accord was redesigned for this year. Brand new styling.
The real suprise of the group is the Impala....DAMN!! It outsold EVERYTHING!! LOL
I know it's just a typo..
Actually, the Taurus is a big suprise IMO. That design is kind of old and sales had been tapering off for a couple of years. How the heck did it begin to pick up again??? Incentives? I would think that would affect the Focus (lower models - people moving UP to the Taurus), but the Focus is still up there. Maybe it did lose some sales...hmmm..anyone have comparable 1 year ago figures?

no no i'm not comparing them
i'm just saying that they sell really really well, if you combine them they should be at the topof the list or at least near the top
and the accord redesign is an 04 model, for 03 the corolla was new and the accord was 5 years old... i imagine next year, the 04 accord will completely outsell the 04 camry and 04 taurus

Why no Mustang? I figured it would sell better this year since theres no other American sport car to compete with it, maybe it'll sell better in the 2nd quarter when more people buy sports cars?

The market the Taurus is in is very competitive and huge. Sales may be good, but it's still coming in 3rd to the Camry and accord. 3rd place may be all right, but 1st place is better. I think Ford might be trying to go there with the Taurus replacement.
Speaking of sales, i'm surprised the explorer isn't on the top 10. For the past couple of years, it was coming in at #3 after the Silverado and F-Series. What the hell happened for sales to drop that much?
