you should teach a class on this. . what if you got one of every SS Chevy currently offers and a Z06 on top of them? what does that equal out to?

Well, I've been working on what vehicles I'd pick out for some time now... Thought about it a lot while trying to fall asleep last night thanks to this thread!!!

Corvette Z06 - for me (and the wife... )

Avalanche Z71 or Cadillac EXT- depends on how much I use elsewhere, if extra money is there, I'd go for the EXT. I could also replace this with a Silverado SS AWD.

TrailBlazer SS AWD - The Av/EXT and TBSS wouldbe the Daily Drivers for the wife and I, I think...

Corvette Z51 - for my Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law (possibly a convertible)

Cadillac STS AWD - for my Mom.

Then we have to decide if we take the rest in cash... or get cars for my sister and my wife's sister and brother... if we did get them cars, they'd probably be:

Monte Carlo SS or GTO - brother-in-law

Montana SV6 - sister-in-law

G6 GTP - sister

But, this whole thing is fluid... so, I've yet to make a final decision.

 

The best GM commerical I can remember is the Ram Air Trans Am commercials from the late 90's and early 2000's, especially where the Ferarri gets gutted at the stop light.

 

I'd get two Z06's (one red, one blue), an STS (V8 AWD, black), a Silverado 2500 HD (quad cab, black), a Saturn Sky, and keep the rest for taxes.

 

Oups. You're going to have to make a change... Saturn Sky is a 2007 model... must choose from 2006 models! (I am the Official Rules police. )


You could slide a Solstice in there though...

 

Dang it, I want the Sky! I'll just take the money, then, and buy an '07 Sky with my family-of-an-employee discount. :-)

That's is a good ad. But am I the only one to notice the other ad, with the Tahoe( or was it a Suburban) touting the superior mpg.? That one's really good too, and about time, but we need more of those. Someone asked me about it, as if they couldn't believe it. I said yes its true, even though many ppl don't realize it.

Id have to do it up real nice. Z06 for the weekends, STS-V for the daily grind, G6 GTP coupe, Cobalt SS, GTO and an 2wd Silvy SS. I dont know how that all adds up, but Id be happy with that.

Haha Darth, I'm in the same boat as you... read all the fine details of the prize, and been contemplating my list as well.

Right now my choices would be:
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Cadillac STS-V
Chevrolet Trailblazer SS AWD
Chevrolet Cobalt Supercharged SS
Pontiac G6 GXP (or GTP) Coupe
$105,000 cash (to pay the tax and build a bigger garage!)
