The S10 and Blazer were ancient, and had poor quality. In addition it was too small by today's standards, even for a small truck.

It had to go.

Colorado should do everything S10 did, and more... for abou the same price, on a more modern and high quality platform.

I bought a new 97 ZR2 regular cab back in 1997... cool truck, but it had it's issues. My wife (then fiance) leased a 2000 Blazer LT (top of the line) and it was even worse.

 

I'm 18 an very anti-rice and for the most part anti-import except certain circumstances. First of all, none of those cars are really in the price range of a 16-22 year old as is. I'll bet anything the Xtreme versions wont be either. I didnt mind the Blazer and S-10 Xtremes. They were tastefully done. But these except for the Colorado are IMO disgusting. I'm really interested in the Equinox and Colorado but no way I'll be able to afford one anytime soon. Personally I like the current Blazer and will be selling my 95 Blazer for a 99-2002 in about 2-3 years. I would love to own a Colorado but I dont like the price tag and neither does my wallet.

Besides I need a 4x4 for a daily driver/winter transportation and unless there is some kind of change, Xtreme models are only offered in 2WD. Give me a nice Blazer sized SUV or light truck like the Colorado that doesnt look like it came from Japan with 4WD that should be able to haul my Camaro on a trailer to the track as is or with minor modifications and I'll be happy. I'm not a fan of large automobiles, or I'd get a Trailblazer like my mom's (nice but too big for me) or buy my dad's Silverado. But please GM if you're going to turn these good automobiles into stupid looking rice machines, dont even bother making them. Its dishonoring and degrading.

The Colorado looks cool. In the first pic, the whole car is terrible BUUUUT with a little work the frontend styling could look good.

The Aveo needs to die. Now

The Malibu looks pretty good as well, but for the love of God GET RID OF THE ****ING SPOILERS!!!!!

 

LOL!!! Maybe they'll add a 2nd gerbil for the Aveo Extreme!

 

Actually, I think that the Aveo looks the least worst out of all of them.

 

I'm 22 and im def. against the whole "ricer" thing and mostly anti-import as well, except for a few certain cars. The Colorado doesnt look bad, basically because you can recognize its just a slightly modified Colorado. The others, blah, get them out of here, destroy them

 

I'm 18 and don't like any of 'em...the colorado looks like someone punched it in the face and both eyes swelled up

 

It looks like a regular Colorado ZQ8 but with different rims.

I think the ZQ8 should have been named Xtreme
