If it is, then you can thank GM's government financed bankruptcy that this car didn't happen. As long as GM was believing that they could weather through their financial meltdown, they were going to use Espilon for a small cadillac instead of spending the money on the Alpha.

Glad to read that pic isn't ALPHA as that isn't going to get any 1/3 Series or IS shoppers to even walk into a Caddy dealer.

That rear hatch looks terrible. Glad this isn't the real ATS.

 

glad to hear it. as others have complained...this car is lamer than the current Civic.......not at all what a 3-series competitor should be....unless you're competing with a 3-series that doesn't exist, or are blind.

 

It was for blind people, who wanted a 3-series, but couldn't afford one.

Luckily, they found out that that market is rather small.
