In the new C&D there is a picture of Honda's new Unibody Pickup. It is based on the MDX, which is based on the Odessey, which is based loosley on the Accord.
From what I saw in the pic, Honda's attempt to make it look "brutish" really didn't work.
I think this will be Honda's first Bona Fide disaster, however I said teh same about the Element...

Yea it looked pretty bad. Esp when compared to the Tundra or Titan, we won't even compare it to the domestic trucks, its not worth it.
Honda knows about as much about copying pick-ups as they do making Harley's....

It looks quite awful.
Plus what's the point of a pickup like that w/o the mid-gate like the avalance? You really can't fit much in the bed, you might as well get yourself an SUV or something.
Chris
Yea, that thing looks really ugly, and I question how well it'll do in the market - especially with the tiny bed and wimpy AWD system. But, folks sure do seem to like their SUVs with minimal amounts of both sport and utility, so maybe this thing will deliver just that.
So, if we apply that to their pickups, we can assume that they'll be more reliable and contain more US content? Or is this not what you mean?
