... Wednesday (tomorrow) morning

Does anyone have any questions that they would like me to try to ask him?

Is there a significance in that the GTO and Grand Prix marketing manager is one and the same (you might want to explore the possibility that GTO will become a performance version of the next Grand Prix coupe).

I'd like to know exactly how much they plan on charging for the GTO, but I doubt he'd be ready to let that cat out of the bag...

Ask him why the $35K GTO can't have the same level of warranty as a $9,000 Hyundai? For those of us who can't remember a decent Australian import, this would be a confidence building move - the difference between buying and taking the "wait and see" approach. Considering that this GTO won't be on the market very long, "waiting" will mean defering a purchase until 2006-2007, or just buying another make. I'd also like to know why other current GM products have such uncompetitively short warrantys. If Hyundai can afford the claims, why can't GM?

Comparison:

It may be too late, but could they do a "track" version without power options, leather, and other cost/weight adding extra's that us poor folks can't afford (like the original GTO that started the musclecar era).

Right now, my feeling is that GM is capitalizing on the nostalgia/babyboomer market, but not acknowleging the customers they abandonned with the departure of their only affordable performance car.

Why does everything fast and not front drive have to be 35K? (350Z, Mustang Cobra, Evolution, WRX Sti, Etc). Build something fast and cheap, I will buy it.

Thanks for the opportunity to voice our opinions.

Good idea.

Imply that hood scoops and dual side exhaust should be on the 04 right from the factory without SLP, and no waiting until 05 for these things.

ask him about the upcoming GMH and GM joint platform (VE), and what does it entail, and which cars will ride on it ???, and if any AWD V8 vehicles are on the drawing board.
