Following those comments, I would really consider a mid engined Cien derivative to go after the ultra exotics if I was running the show. Even as a Corvette enthusiast, I am wondering what they are really trying to accomplish with the car. How expensive will this ubervette be? There is a point at which you have to ask "Why build a Corvette that is that expensive."
If it is really a Z06 replacement and fills that pricepoint, maybe it makes more sense.

Is there any "head to head" on the Z06 vs Ford GT yet...might be a close match, except price.
It supposedly beats the Viper by .3 in the 1/4, and stretches that out above 100mph.

Look across the bridge. The only way to tell, at this point, where the vette is headed, is to see where ford is headed. I could see a supercharger option, but not an entirely new vehicle. and I still stand by the "Corvette SS" not being a name.
