The Firepower (the concept will get a name change), is actually more of a Corvette competitor. It's built off of the Viper's platform and gets a V8.

That looks like the $90,000+ Chrysler version of the Dodge Viper.

Nice concept but if ever goes into production it will cost way more then I can afford right now.

I think that I read somewhere, it'll be in the $50,000 range.

But the reason I posted is, if you look at the front end, and sort of squint....don't you see some Camaro cues?

Looks like this: http://www.astonmartin.com/content/a...da12537f09.jpg

Mixed with this:

Equals this:

My initial thoughts were more Corvette + Cadillac XLR look-a-like.

It looks European GT inspired, which IMO where the Camaro needs to base its design from.

Yeah, soemthing like that.
I know most of you dont enjoy the design of a good European GT car, but I think a car that had design like an Aston or a Ferrari would really attract tons of people that would normaly skip over the Camaro.

As WERM said, the 70 1/2....especially with the RS front end, and also the '82 had substantial European design influence.
