I think we'll see a lot of people making similar remarks in the near future. I've been trying to tell people this since the pictures of the car were first released...it is prettier and more "expensive" looking in person.

 

No question it looks more expensive. The problem is, as I've said before I think the LS, LT and LTZ are spot on...but the SS needs some more visual cache to it. However, admittedly I have seen 2 on the road so far, and both were SSs. Apparently, the general public is feeling differently, which makes me happy

 

I did the same thing, until I actually saw one. IMO, the '06 Impala is even less distinctive than the '05, which really only had the taillights going for it.

Nothing against the car itself -- I just think it lacks visual character.

OMG that car looks so nice! I haven't seen any on the streets yet, but the local chevy house has a couple and they are mean lookin!

 

 

Saw the one with all the "Impalas" around it, then the guy starts it with the remote start. They atleast said something about the "remarkable 28mpg the V8 gets." They need to keep up the advertising.

That needs to be put on a flag, and given to every chevy dealer to wave above the Impy and MC SS.

 

I just saw this ad last night for the first time... very cool! The CGI was excellent I thought... really made me notice it.

its better then the G6 comercials where they never said the automaker...

I remember for a good month I wondered who made the G6

 

But it looks pretty damn close to a Grand Prix, GM styling is pretty distinctive of being a GM

 

It must be ringing a bell with alot of people . Ive seen more 06 Impala SS's on the road than the lower models . Ive seen 4-5 Impala SS's . The white one looked VERY nice and upscale , the blue and black ones looked mean . I did about 500 miles worth of driving today from Inday to chicago and back home and it looks like its gonna be a pretty popular car . I saw SEVERAL 06 impalas already . Quite surprising , its a much much better looking car in the flesh . Kudos to chebby

 

You know, I saw an 06 one day, it was gone the next (and this is a dealership I drive by everyday). Surprising that somebody would pick it up for more than an employee discounted 05.

 

but the G6 comercial was the car racing around on some windy road, giving you glimpse looks if I got a good enough look I would have seen the emblem, but it didnt give me a chance to see what it was, but it did get me to think "G6" and what was it and who made it... but I didnt know those answers... I didnt even know for sure if it was advertising a car
