Anyone notice the "5th gen" concept in the art school commercial?

Just wondering if anyone has seen this. The commercial is a new version "The Art School" or something like that. Basically, if you think you have artistic talent, you call them, they send you a pamplet and you can become an artist by attending their institution or something...

Anyways, in the new commercial one of the sample drawings is of a "5th Gen" with the letters SS across the grill. Itlooks alot like the Hotwheels muscle tone car, black, upright and agressive. They show the drawing again hanging on a wall when the host of the commercial gives out the 1800 number.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen it...

Yah, I noticed that too. I believe it's the same car as was featured in one of the car mags, Hot Rod or something like that.

This pic wont have anything to do with a new camaro coming out,If it did you would NOT believe the designs that come out of the Center for Creative Studies near downtown Detroit.It is some kids "expression" of what a new Camaro should look like.Just like many others on the net.

WAKE UP!!!!!The car will come when it is time.
Just because something new has a V8 you guys jump right on it and say "It aint no 5th Gen" or "Doesnt have what it takes to be MY 5th gen."
My god people plz be patient,If you didnt want it to die you should of bought more of them.Just think if you all bought 2 a piece production would of went over 80,000 and they might of kept it.

(FLAME SUIT IS ON!!!!)

{I wonder how many will reply to this}

Production was 79,000 combined and they didn't keep it. I think we've pretty well established that the F-body was killed for reasons other than sales and that the sales drop was manufactured to make an excuse for cancelling the two names.

Anyway, I agree with you...everybody here jumps any time anything remotely hints at a 5th gen...myself included. We are all guilty of being a bit over-anxious about 5th gen news but can you blame us?

But with Pacer X's Opel GT info, its starting to sound like there's light at the end of the tunnel and logic and order is returning to the universe.

I hope they do post the art school pic, not because I actually think its the real thing, but because I am CURIOUS and I like seeing different interpretations of the F-body future.

I dont think anyone has said that this will be the new car. Its just a drawing some art student did that caught my eye on TV.

Why are you so excited?

Here is the picture. Thanks for e-mailing it to me CamaroKid. It's a bit too retro for my taste, but nice.

Ya, I've seen the commercial a few time... another 69 retro near-clone.
