I wonder why its called "RUMBLE" maybe so it can take the rumble of a V8 in a 2 door car.

Im hoping so,Lets face it-With the Camaro on a leave of absense the whole pony car thing isnt fun right now.Yeah I can chuckle being a Ford guy @ heart but why chuckle if the maro isnt here to join in on the spankin' sorta speak.Im not punchin noone or nothing in the gut but I can clearly state I miss the F bod as well.Im sorry but the GThoe is nothing IMHO.Yes it will be a great car but it doesnt fit the bill of what a pony car "should" be whence the reason for me saying what I did. Will it get good reviews in the mags of course it will. Will it be embraced like the maro I wouldnt count on it.

guionM-Im glad you heard me

Nah, probably because it's a super-sized SUV, and the "rumbling" you hear is from the asphalt crumbling under it's excessive weight as it drives by.

Seriously though, I've not heard of anything of the sort. Hopefully it's a V8, 2 door sports car.

Whoa partner back to the top for you. I think this could turn out to be a very important topic. I really want GuionM to find something out about "rumble." It sounds very exciting now. Also lets not forget that it was said in another thread something along the lines of "If the camaro was to make a 07 return it would have to be approved about NOW. So I say maybe a design got approved and Rumble is the beginings of the chassis design. I am not sure of anything but for now Rumble =

To kind of add to the excitement.Where he works they make check fixtures and other CAD designed stuff.
Currently they are making the check fixtures for the 05 Mustang.Which we all know will be out soon.So RUMBLE can be out soon as well.

Another side note.@ his work they made the whole concept for the twin snorkkle hood for the T/A.
What happened was GM told them basicly what they wanted and they brought it to life.Overall look engineering and shape was all done by them.

Although I still have a couple of people who still need to get back to me, so far, no one's heard of this "rumble" chassis.

My guess is it's not widely known by that name, or it's an engineering mule.

*Just a side note: even if it IS an engineering mule, don't get too excited about it just yet. GM makes these type of things all the time. There's been a Sigma chassised Monte Carlo mule running around GM for at least a couple of years. No chance of comming into production, but I'm guessing it was a study that perhaps proved why CTS based sigmas were too expensive for "volume" RWD cars. Something that Holden has helped solve in the past year or so.
