Anyone going to the 50th Corvette event in Nashville?

I was planning on it until I visited their site, but it's quickly escallating into a several hundred dollar affair for one night ($100 just to get into the event)...hotels gouging, et al. Is anyone else going to make the trip, or should I go to Vegas instead?

For anybody that goes to this, stop by www.mtfba.org and let us know you are going to be in town. Maybe some of our members can get together and we can find something to do.

The Nashville celebration is $50.00 for 2 days and this includes the ZZ Top finale concert.

Room prices depend on where you stay.

It doesn't strike me as all that much money comparativly speaking.

I'm flying in as a part of what I do for a living, but I wouldn't miss it regardless.

I wasn't aware of this event. Where exactly in Nashville will it be held?
