Anybody read GM High Tech Performance

I got my new magazine in yesterday and it was talking about a new rear wheel drive v-8 car in 2008 but haven't given it a name yet. It also said the Camaro name has come up more than once. It said if it does happen it will come back with a look more like the 67's. I have seen pics of the purposed 5th gen camaro and it looks mean. That would be awesome. Put my name down on the list for one.

I'm sorry smartass. I didn't realize that i'm not posting in a forum (where you can have an open discussion with other people) anymore. I just saw it last night. First hard evidence i've heard of it. Didn't mean to offend your delicate eyeballs by giving my opinion.

You need to chill about the smartass comments. Do you see the sticky at the top of the forum? We have it because people came in for like 3 months after something appeared in a magazine, we had seen the same thing months before that. This forum is THE place for info on the 5th gen. You should search before you post something to see if it has been covered.

It's not exactly new news, but it's coming from a realitively solid source that puts their name behind what they say, which is incouraging.

That's what i'm saying. I have known about this for a long time. Like I said, I saw pics of what it could look like a long time ago as well. But this is the first hard evidence I have seen and I just thought I would share it. Not trying to get into an argument but there is absolutley no need to waste my time or anybody elses time by replying with a smartass coment like that no matter how many times it has been covered. Just trying to share a little info with everybody that may not have seen it.

You have got to be kidding me? GM High Tech Performance a "solid source"? The next thing you'll be telling me is the Easter Bunny is real!

1. You haven't seen any hard evidence. You've seen the same thing that's been posted here for some time.

2.You definately haven't seen any pictures of it. Even the somewhat close drawing that appeared in C&G and my article has been all but completely scrapped. Only a few people here have any clue of what the car now looks like, and they aren't going to be posting pictures of it (I'm not one of them).

3. No ones trying to be a smarta**. There's been a run of bad news latley, and everyone's a little punchy, that's all.

You all act like a bunch of babies. Thanks for the info, but I had already heard as well. If you guys don't like reposts....there's a simple solution: DON'T READ THEM!

If we don't read a post how do we know if it is a repost?

Re: Anybody read GM High Tech Performance

what exactly is the problem here? all the thread starter was trying to do is inform us that GMHTP had an article on the potential of a 5th gen. why the hell doesn't everyone give the guy break...he's just trying to be informative.

so what if it's been posted before??....the mag is more "credible" than unknown internet users here who seem to know all.

chill out.

Why is GMHTP not credible? When the F-bodies were still around , they were the only magazine, that had the quarter mile times even close to real world. I will say again, I can remember going to E-Town watching these things run and GMHTP was right on. I think some of you are just so against GM.
