so what if it's been posted before??....the mag is more "credible" than unknown internet users here who seem to know all.

chill out.

Re: Anybody read GM High Tech Performance

I like GMHTP...a lot actually. I just hope they can grasp sooner or later that there is more to GM performance than F bodies and Vettes. I would love a writeup on a FWD W body, or more on '80s G Bodies (I am aware that, per the definition of the magazine, GNs are all that really apply).

Its a great mag, and I'm glad they've gone to 9 month circulation (10 if you count the issue bagged with PHR in October). I just want them to branch out a little more.

Easy on the noobs.

If they need to be flamed, I'll accomodate them later.

Re: Anybody read GM High Tech Performance

The point is most of GMHTP's stories are 6 months old. When it comes to rumors on new products, they are far behind most of the other enthusiast magazines out there. Their tech articles are great, however, much of the stuff is available elsewhere, which is why I cancelled my subscription.

I have 100% confidence that this "new" story in GMHTP took much if it's basis from Guy's story in PHR last year.

Still, coming late to the table, they'll look like geniuses if we hear some Camaro news in the next 6 months.

Well, performance and future car products are two different things.

I saw that in GMHTP this month too and had a bit of a chuckle, since I had just got done reading about the ZETA crap online.

Great magazine, I also hope they don't leave out all the non V8 stuff as well. They certainly are not the place to get the latest news. By the time it gets in to our hands any news has allready been posted long ago. I read it for the articles not the news. They know how to launch a car at the strip unlike the rags.

Sometimes people here are a little hard when somebody post that the Camaro is back..many of us come in here everyday, but others don't..

Easy on the sarcasm and insults here folks. We participate in these discussions to ultimately show unity and support for our favorite vehicle. As we know, certain movers and shakers frequently read these posts and likely do not appreciate the in-fighting. Let's keep the dialogue real, maybe heated, but ultimately civil. Like dealing with your family. Just maybe not a family like the Osbournes...
