Any info on the ground-up redesign for the GM full-size truck/SUV lineup?
So from what I gather, GM will be doing a ground-up redesign of its Silverados, Tahoes, and maybe more for 2006, and I'm sure follow up the rest of its lineup for 2007.
So what do we have in store? Fully hydroformed frame this time (instead of just front hydroformed)? DOD?
What about more leading edge technologies like magnetically actuated valves (for infinitely/instantly variable valve timing), CVT/IVT transmissions, etc?
What about the interior... are they planning on making this new lineup on-par with the current offerings from Nissan and Ford, or are they going to keep using utilitarian materials that are just 'good enough' for a truck?
