New Mustang on Dealer Lots

http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=10097

Is it just me or do those seats just look lousy. Where's the support? I'm not impressed by the interior, the dash has the large metal piece but the rest looks disppointingly spartan.

I remain unimpressed by the package but hey, it isn't like we have a lot of choice right now.

I feel the same...the interior is cheesy IMO. Those seats look horrible!

I like the dash fairly well, but it looks like they designed it first and then just gave up. The rest of the interior looks much cheaper than the dash. I'm anxious to see one in person to get a better idea of what it really looks and feels like.

I posted all these pics last week...with the video. The 2005 Mustang is NOT on lots yet. It hasn't even gotten to Job1 yet...

I saw the '05 at the Dallas Auto Show last weekend. The car looks good, and the seats are better in person, but yeah, other than the dash, the rest of the interior is very plain. Kind of suprising.

I can't wait to pull up next to one of these things at a stop light, then just make him look stupid.
Muhahahaha.
That'll be awesome.

Remeber friend, you are "unimpressed" with what is virtually the newest, yet CHEAPEST V8 RWD ON THE PLANET that still possesses the capability of 10-second quarters, autoX, road racing, or any other venue the owner decides to partake of.
Is that so bad?

As a "car guy" or "enthusiast", I don't think you are supposed to be creaming your drawers over this unit. This is the one that will sell 200k units to the masses - you know, those who don't really care about 0-60 times or throttle-steering through a curve.

Once the SVT GT500, the Shelby GT350, the BOSS 302, (maybe Mach 1) and others come out next year - THEN you should be excited. If not, something might be wrong.

Now granted, not everyone will be dead-in-love with this car... that goes without saying. But let's wait for the real big guns to come out and see how things stack up.

I myself am already saving the pennies for a purchase in 2006.
"Big-Gun"... sounds like a great custom tag, eh?

The intake should say, "Copied from GM!"

WOW! What a disappointment. Looks like a refreshed version of the 94-98 models plus it has crap rims
