Another 5th gen concept

Their just scketches , didnt really have the time to color . I did play with the lights a lil in photoshop though . In the 1st one I attempted to do a dash board to . Never drew one those before ....so be kind , haha

The members of this board are seriously upstaging GM in the concept department . Time to show your ideas GM

Waddya think of these ?

It's interesting to see that a lot of the concepts that have been posted here basically use the same themes. They all resemble a more compact, slightly taller, more muscular-shaped 4th Gen. I see some 3rd as well but the creases aren't as sharp. Overall I really like it, it's that "evolutionary" design with Camaro cues I'm looking for in the 5th and not a '69 Z28 clone.

I also agree that since people have been putting their ideas down on paper for everyone to see it's Chevy's turn now.

Nice drawings. I especially like the rear end shot. I think that's the first one I've seen that seems to pack quite a bit of heritage without looking retro...something about it makes me think 2nd-3rd gen.

Good work.

yea I think its in the right direction...if you mind I might play off your concept when I try something myself....some great styling cues...you got it right..its more upright and angular..it almost CTS like..but Camaro...its in the theme..deffinatly in the theme..just need someone to photchop a CTS..just to get the lines and add a little Camaro to its blood and were all set..
Thanks

....and yeah , I do agree the new one needs be smaller , just by way of reducing the massive front and rear overhangs .

I like the rear shot a lot. lots of 3rdgen influence in there.. can never have too much of that I'd try to get rid of that third brake light. otherwise, looks cool to me.

I don't like the dash much. Its just a 4th Gen dash with Third Gen-like gauges. (which look cool though)

The back of the car is Third Gen based obviously and I like it, EXCEPT for those round taillights. Put something more like IROC taillights in place of the Corvette/Impala lights. The Camaro only had lights like that for a few years and IMO was not really nice on them and didn't say "Camaro." Not liking the big cuts outs on the front and rear bumpers and wierd GFX coming out of them. I liked the front of your previous concept alot more. Try giving the body the < > shape, higher spoiler, and adding maybe a 1st or Third Gen-like crease in the rear quarter panels.

I really like the back end on this one. But the front kinda looks like a 3rd gen iroc.

Great work I really like this one. Love the round lights. This has alot of what I'm looking for in a 5th gen. My suggestion on the third brake light is make it in the shape of a Bowtie that would be a bold statement and look really cool.
