I'm told next gen GTO may be shown at NAIAS along with Sunfire replacement concept. Who knows for sure.

Quad-coupe Chevelle?

My guess is that it will have an alpha-numeric name like almost everything else new under Lutz has had. Maybe CCR, DDR, RRR?

How about SSS - Super Sport Sedan or SSQC - Super Sport Quad Coupe.

They already did a Chevy SS concept could the Coupe be Z/28?

[Runs for cover from the ensuing SS vs Z/28 debate.]

I always get a little scared when I am reminded of the potential connections of the Bel Air concept and our car....

There's just nothing exciting about the Bel Air concept to me... I remember seeing it in person in Cleveland at the Auto Show a few years back, and few people even paid it any attention.

Just so bland (IMO)... all around... I really hope we've moved on to something more exciting!!

Re: About this other car at NAIAS...

The only things seemingly of interest from the Bel Air that I recall are the turbocharged 5 cylinder which had a button to change engine management modes, and the fact that the vehicle is "21st century body-on-frame." I think it is the second part that was the reason the Bel Air was produced.

I'd love to read that book of yours..........

Also It would be great if we had a Concept and we then had a pre production model Chevy.........

I always thought the Bel Air, had some 1st gen f-body cues in it! Am I the only one who liked it?
