5th Gen Retro or Not?

What kind of new Camaro would you want? All out retro (aka T-bird/05 Mustang Concept)? Totally new styling/direction (aka 350Z/RX8)? A mix of the past with new like the current Mustang?

"Just say NO! to Retro!"

I vote for evolutionary, but that isn't on the voting list, so I'll vote for mix of new and old as it is the closest, but I don't mean my vote to be taken in the retro context...

EDIT: I read your extra info given on that voting option, and if the current Corvette is considered a mix of new and old, this is right on the mark as far as what I am hoping for...

Evolution here too. If I had to vote for one up there, i would say the one with the Corvette as an example.

I want a more retro-flavored Camaro like the 05 Mustang. But I don't call the 05 Mustang all-out retro.

I want a Camaro with Character and styling, not something inspired by the shape of a jelly-bean. AND NO FREAKIN' HATCH-BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cut the overhangs back, push the wheelbase out a few inches, stop wasting interior space with that long dash pad, put some 20 inch wheels on it, give it a trunk with fold-down back seats and some '69 styling cues.

Evolutionary, not revolutionary and certainly not retro.

If a retro Camaro comes out it will go against everything that Camaro has stood for in the last 35 years. I want to see the design continue to evolve. I voted for mix of old (should have the black grill like nearly all of them had and round tail lights would be nice) and new.

17's Are just fine thank you.

Other than that, I would like to see a mix of old and new.

some '69 styling cues.
That would be neat....Just don't overkill it!

Well, i see the 2005 mustang as a prime example of mixing of the old and new. It's got allot of retro cues but is distinctly very modern. I think they pulled it off really well so i want jump on the anti-retro bandwagon (nor am i jumping on the retro bandwagon either). If it looks good, i'm not going to complain.

Soooo, i vote for a mix of the old and new. You don't want it to be so NEW that it isn't even recognizable as a camaro. I'd like to see a little bit of 1st and 3rd gen in the 5th gen since i dig the looks of both gens.

With all the GM bashing that has gone on, I'm surprised to see '0%' in the "I will never buy a Camaro again" column.

I vote for the old and new, but i would rather have practically a whole new design, just with some Camaro styling cues, i guess that is old and new, but i really like how the 350Z looks. I guess evolutionary.

Another vote for EVOLUTIONARY styling here. And I'm talking more drastic a change than third to fourth gen, more like second to third gen.
