Let's talk alittle more about Mustang and why it will continue to sell in high volumes.

Apparently the the modified DEW platform that Mustang will go into production with, will be a world class piece.

The LS/Jag S-type SLA front suspension has been modified to support the wider modular V8. The rear DEW IRS and sub-structure has been eliminated...replaced with a multi link, Control Blade Independent Suspension.

The CBS IRS has the distinction of being lighter, more compact, cheaper and reportedly a better performer than the DEW IRS.

And of course there are those rumors of available solid rear axles on some models to broaden the Mustang market even further.

So, as GM considers platforms for the Camaro...I hope that they keep in mind the EXTREMELY "high volume" Mustang will be riding on world class mechanicals.

We will expect nothing less for Camaro!
