I actually see some Camaro influence in the styling.

Re: 2015 Mustang Leaked in Autoweek

While it's probably a nice car, it sure isn't a Mustang.
Looks too much like an import. Too soft, too feminine.

Me no likely as a Mustang

Now that car looks bad ***!

I don't hate the new mustang, but I don't like it either. No way would I trade my 11 for it, not even if it got 5mpg better fuel economy, weighed 300lbs less, and had another 50hp. I have to draw the line somewhere

Side profile looks like an Audi TT. Way to screw it up Ford.

Article in Time:
This Is What Ford%u2019s All-New 2015 Mustang Really Looks Like | TIME.com

Looks like the Euro pedestrian crash regs dictated the front end design (note the droopy nose).

Definitely. It has that "hump" like the new BMWs. That said, that's pic you posted is the most flattering angle I've seen so far.

I'm very curious to see this car in person.

Re: 2015 Mustang Leaked in Autoweek

Here is the WSJ video that shows the car in more angles and less glare.

WSJ Video

Jalop article with a few tidbits

From what I understand its about the same length, a tad shorter and a tad wider in the rear as well as losing 200 pounds (probably the I4 ecoboost car for the total weight loss).

Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords Article

Of note to me in the MM&FF article is the virtual pivot front end.

Article also says Ford meet its weight targets (that doesn't inspire confidence) but no weight listed.

Ford's official page

You can check out the vert here also BIG x HUGE pictures, the GT is riding on a square setup --> 265/35R20's

Also, not sure how I feel about the passenger side airbag being in the glovebox door? Seems like that is going to bite Ford in the *** somehow.

Re: 2015 Mustang Leaked in Autoweek

Looks good in convertible form, probably because it gets rid of the mis-proportioned greenhouse.
And that front end; so flat, so bulbous, so droopy. It really spoils the car.
