I really can't wait to hear the specs on the new engines. I can't believe they made an Gen V V6, that is awesome. They should have done that win the Gen III/IV V8s too. I'm surprised the engine isn't a 4.0 or 4.6L (based off the 5.3 or 6.2L). They gave the V6 it's own bore/stroke.

At least if I pass a new Sierra going down the road I will be able to tell that its a new one. I am not sure if I will be able to do that with the Silverado......
GM should have done more.

Sierra looks better. They look like an update rather than all new. A side by side comparison would reveal a lot.
I would think the LT1 as GM's standard performance V8 would be find it's way into the Camaro. There is no reason not to continue using Gen IV V8's when the LT1 should improve performance and fuel efficiency for roughly the same cost. Certification aside.
If we go by past engine debuts in Vette to Camaro, previous LT1 was a year later in '93. LS1 was a year after C5 in '98. You could say LS3 was a year behind Vette in 2009. So maybe 2015 in Camaro. Although in this case I could see if a change is made in the 5th Gen 2014 should work.

In the past accessory guages were around the side or bottom. If you spread out the main guages for the fancy DIC everyoone wants. Top or bottom becomes the only viable option. They have to go somewhere.

Either those wheels are 24" or the sides aren't as thick anymore. Which I definitely like as the current trucks are thick and slab-sided looking. With that said, I like the Silverado more this time around. Can't wait to see it in person.
