I was in Barcelona 2 weeks ago, and I actually saw a 1st Gen 300 wagon. It was identical to the Magnum, but had the 300 front sheetmetal. I liked it much more than the Magnum. I didn't even know a Chrysler version existed.

 

Yes. It was export only. Europe and Australia.

It's called the 300 Touring (not our version of Touring, obviously). Had the 300's interior and front end, but the Magnum's bodywork.

There was even a model that came with a diesel.

 

Is that being considered by anyone to be built??

It wasn't built in the US and exported. All RHD Chryslers were made by Magna at a plant they have in Austria, and sold in Europe and exported to Australia, New Zealand, and other RHD countries. The diesel was from Mercedes Benz.





Possibly. But it'll be a Lancia and sold in Europe.

 

While I like the looks of the 300 wagon, I still prefer the front of the Magnum better.
