LaCrosse starts at around $30k... I dont see how they'd keep the price of a turbo awd car under $38k at best.
edit: Thats not to say I don't like the car, it's very sharp. I'm just concerned as to having it available in the US at a good price point, while GM still makes any money on it. The days of losing money on cars appear to be over...

To sell It has to be at least $5k cheaper than BMW 335i or Audi A4 3.2
I would take BMW over it (in therms of performance), but looks wise (specially interior), its no contest and Insignia wins all the way.

Very nice car, but in the end it would probably just slot in as a higher trim line model of the Regal, which is pretty much just a rebadge of the Insignia anyway isn't it?
That is of course assuming that the Regal has been officially approved - I recall there being an announcement of sorts (on GMI I believe) but it wasn't really a GM announcement so I don't know how official it all is. I would think that pricing would likely be in line with the former Regal GS trim in relation to pricing of lower line trim.
