Looks like CGI though - I wonder how it'll translate to the real world?
I've been preaching on this one hard for a couple years now at least... GM's weakest area of their newer interior designs has been a lack of integration. Their components were too modular and squared off with a 'stick a generic parts bin HVAC and radio in this hole' sort of look to them.
These new designs most certainly seem to have that fixed. That one area right there, at least based on that shot, looks better than anything else on the market today in that class. Granted, we still apparently have 2 more years for the competition to adjust and catch up...

On a car like the new Malibu which made a valiant effort at some curves, the blocky center unit ruins it all.

I wonder what other cars might share a similar layout in 24-months??
