I couldn't find much specific to the KDI EVT system..

Yeah I remember GM had this (electronic valvetrain) in the works, a long time ago! I was hoping they'd put it out first. I believe it included the higher voltage electical system, they were working on. Maybe there's a link to it, some where?

I like the idea of the electronic valvetrain - but I can't get into it. Timing completely controlled by the computer is AWESOME. I just wonder about the longevity and solenoid rates at higher RPM especially if trying to mod it for racing use.

Also, another downturn on this is the cost going to be worth the benefit?

K.I.S.S. sometimes does have it's merit. Although, it is interesting don't get me wrong.

I thought htis rumored technology was going to be in the LS2-LS6.... obviously not...

it wouldnt be difficult just electrically powered cams (one intake one exhaust) to controll the degree difference... but if each valve is powered you are asking for trouble...
