Seems like a logical place for another LS4-powered car.

Will it keep the Chevy SS wheels? That's a little strange.

I thought the Impala SS wheels were kind of funny, too. I'm sure that they are the size that is being eyed for production, but not the design. Production wheels probably just don't exist yet.

You'd have to guess that the finished Buick wheel will be the same size and probably carry the same exact tire, so they can test with those to get useable feedback.

Its definitely a latecomer, but nice to see a LS variant stuffed under there.

Yes, those wheels are just placeholders because the size matches. The Buick will have some different wheels, for sure.

Something like a 7 spoke or so?

I have no idea. *sighs quietly to himself b/c he misses Milford...*

I just know there is no way in hell they would put those Impala SS wheels on the Buick.

Obviously, it isn't uncommon at all for them to run around on readily available wheels for development when the size is the same.

Yeah, that is just a test mule, so the Impala SS wheels will go. Though the front end is semi masked, the headlights and lines in the hood look a whole lot like the now dead Park Avenue.

The LS4 will give it some nice power, but I have some mixed feelings about that. First it seems to waterdown the W-Bodies having the Grand Prix GXP, Impala SS, & LaCrosse Super all with the same top engine. With Buicks new image there are trying to build I think a 300hp Northstar V8 or the 3.6 DOHC VVT tuned to about 300hp would better fit Buicks new image better.

I wonder which is the cheapest to build V8 car in the world? The LS4 W-car or the Mustang GT?

^ How about the Crown Vic Panther?

Still no sign of the Chinese Lacrosse, I guess.

The Super is a good looking car. I think many people on this board will like it.

But don't be expecting an all new look, think nice update, otherwise you may be disapointed.

All in all, it will add a touch of powerful class to the Buick lineup.

And don't worry about the wheels, they are Buick specific units on the production item.
