2007 Vue and Aura Hybrid

Hope this hasn't been posted previously.... if so scold me.

Picture of the 2007 Vue and Aura Hybrid powertrain....

From this url.... http://www.j-body.org/gallery/galler...dir=Powertrain

Sort of odd the Hybrids won't get the 6 speed auto that the regular gas versions of the Outlook and Aura will have.

I'm guessing battery pack.

The battery pack on the Vue is near the rear suspension, the reason it doesn't get AWD.

That's what I'd say.

That is a powertrain "mockup"/display unit, kinda like the silver painted LS2s and LS7s and 6L80s you see on display at the auto show every year. They would not necessarily put the battery pack exactly where it is in relation to the engine when it is on a display stand vs. in a vehicle. All it would take is a longer cable from the hybrid control module to the battery pack and voila, the battery pack can now be in the rear of the vehicle.
