Viper Club of America actually got rid of the "Snake Pit Grill" their "Lounge" because of so many of the owners saying they were picking up a Z06.

Think about it. 500hp(550 rumored ), Coupe, No interior gadgets or amenities for $85,000 dollars. Viper

Or 500hp, interior gadgets galore with amenities for LESS Z06

Dodge dropped the ball HARD on this one. If you're spending THAT kinda cheese on a car, what would you expect?

Oh yeah, no doubt that the similarity is uncanny. We'll just have to see how the Gen IV Viper and C7 match up. LOL

 

Damn some of those Viper owners think they are on top of the world because they own a viper. I guess money ruins some people.

 

Damn, when I read the posts those people are making, it makes me suspicious that they are all 10 year olds pretending to have vipers

 

I would much rather have an 06 z06...lower price, same if not more hp, and lighter...which makes it faster for about $20k cheaper.

 

The 2006 Z06 also has a dry sump oiling system, and I believe a trans/rear diff cooler too.. Which, at least on paper, makes the Z06 pratically ready to endure a full roadrace...

 

damn i do like vipers, but as others have stated i would also get a c6 zo6 b/c i have always been a vette fan and they are a great bang for your buck

 

I'll take a new Z06 over a Viper anyday for all the above reasons. Plus take a look at the crappy Viper interior and then look at the Vette's interior, nothing more needs to be said.

 

i want the vipers, my favorite car ever. i would take them over the z06 anyday. the viper just looks mean as hell. the corvette is pretty nice though
