so the Nox will get the 3.9 in an SS model? Do they really need to make an SS model? Is there that much crazy for a performance oriented SUV? I dont get teh Tblazer SS, so the idea of a Nox SS makes me more confused.
An HFV6 would be too costly for this car. Keep them for the Buicks and Caddies.
I would assume that the Pontiac will get the 3v headed 3.9 as Pontiac will stay one step ahead of the Chevy and Saturn. I think that the 3.4 should finaly be done with, and use the 3.5. I hope that is what goes in to the next Impy with a 3.9 as an option.
Im surprised that GMC has yet to get a Theata... but I think its better that they didnt.

don't know 'bout general consensus, but I LOVE the idea of performance oriented suv's. Being a family guy, my next vehicle will need to be family oriented. I like trucks/Suv's and I'm very excited to see how the production Trailblazer SS turns out (kinda worried bout pricing though). I think the nox SS is a good idea as a more affordable performance suv. Depending on costs, i'll be interested in it as well.

Whats not to get??? People like fast/powerful vehicels and people like SUVs, so why not put the two together.

I think it is meant to be the Aztek replacement.

After all the tomatos thrown at Aztek over it's "styling", I think they are quick to get away from that name for the replacement.
