If you consider me first hand, then yes it is.
And I made a mistake. It's the NV146. And actually, now that Magna International bought a controlling stake in our plant, they changed our designations from NV (which meant New Venture) to MD (Magna Drivetrain).
The 146 is only installed in the SRT8.

The Trailblazer SS uses a version of the 126/226. The 126 is a single speed, clutch pack, AWD unit used in the Bravada, Ranier, and I think the 9-7x. The 226 is a 2 speed switchable AWD/4WD with clutch pack unit used in the Envoy and Trailblazer.
The SS uses the 120. It does not have a clutch pack nor does it have a actuator. It uses a gerotor style coupling to vary torque from rear to front.
