That and there should be some visual distinctions for the Z06 from the regular 'Vette. I personally think the bigger fenders out back and the wide *** tires might be enough. Just nothing to get all excited about.

You are 100% correct.
Dave Hill said the Z06 would look so different from the standard C6 that "even your grandma could tell the difference"... from what we have seen so far, that is not the case.
At this point, from what we have seen, the C5 Z06 is more visually distinct from it's counterpart than the C6 Z06... by virtue of the roofline.

Guys, just cause you can't see the scoop, doesn't mean it's there. GM might have put on a stock hood just to screw with us. Obviously there are the fender flares, those NICE wheels, and the mesh grill. And you never know what's hidden under the camo... could it be a whole new front fascia?

I continue to love everything about the C6. Saw one on the road yesterday, gorgeous car. I really like the wheels on the Z06. Kinda like the transition from the C5 wheel style to the C5 Z06 wheel wheel style, going from single 5 spokes to dual 5 spokes.

lol...I've been over to the corvette boards, and most of them are pi$$ed because the car looks too much like the current C6.. 
really, i mean, there's no pleasing that crowd...personally, i wouldn't care if it looked exactly alike, or if the Z06 was just an engine option...but since i'm not in their 'target economic demographic' i'm pretty sure they care less what I think...
