Re: 2005 Roush

Looks like a chop of this stock GT.

Official or not, it is a poorly done chop of a GT. Finished product will probably look close to that, but it was dumb of them to even use a low-quality pic like that for an official showing .

Re: 2005 Roush

You know...I don't really like the looks of it in pictures, but in real life I bet that'd look absolutely stunning.

Re: 2005 Roush

oh look it's a Ricestang GT

Well I thought the 05 GT looked goofy with its 4 light setup and how they done the lights in the grill to the ones on the outside of the grill. Kinda makes them look like offroad fog lights u picked up from walmart or something and wired them in the grill.

But im not too big of a Roush fan myself but this looks too ricey to me and throwing in the retro styling cues and addons it just dont look right at all.

Re: 2005 Roush

The front bumper looks way to bussy and doesnt lok like it fits right (bad photoshop) but the back and sides look okay. Also the hood scoop needs to be about twice as wide (is the hood scoop standard with the stang or is that part of this package?)

Look at Roush's past stuff. I don't believe the accuracy of that picture for a moment.
Unfortunately for Roush, it's the one Roush is using on their website to garner interest:
http://www.roushperf.com That seems to lend some accuracy.

Re: 2005 Roush

It's a little on the gaudy side, but I actually kinda like it, especially the rear shot. The standard 05 is not doing a whole lot for me, it needs some sprucing up... That looks like a bad photoshop job as others have said though. I can't wait to see the actual product, hope it looks mean...

Just did.

Umm.... let's just say that if I did buy the new Mustang GT, I would keep it the h*ll away from Roush.

Re: 2005 Roush

like i said in the GTO thread. i dont know how you can get the Roush confused with this:

because a funtional front end is REALLY rice.

Good taste has rarely been the goal of the aftermarket body kit makers. Most folks who buy these kits are trying to make a statement, and the more outrageous the better.

I saw picture of the Red Roush Mustang GT in this months Car and Driver. I think it looks awsome . If I had the money, I'd buy one

Re: 2005 Roush

I think it looks alright, it def has an agressive tone to it. You can see how Roush is trying to keep its signature foglights, but yet there arent any in there? Just the "driveing lights" on the grill. The holes look out of place. I like the idea of side exhaust but i was reading that it wont happen. Maybe Saleen will do better?
