RWHP on the dyno for that car was 294rwhp with a mail order tune (we wanted real world performance numbers, not custom, one off dyno numbers that are difficult to duplicate for the average consumer), with the ET streets on the car. Assuming 3-4rwhp loss for the sticky tires, you have right around 300rwhp.
"Mail order" or "canned" tune...meaning it wasn't done on the dyno, under test conditions in an attempt to extract everything out of the car. Maybe there is more, maybe there isn't. The point is, it's the same tune somebody who buys an Xcalibrator will get to flash onto their PCM.
I'm sure there are some (like yourself) who will nitpick the details, but the car went 12.4...good launch, bad launch...whatever.

That thing must of been pulling mean 60 ft and 1/8 times to be running 12.43 and only trapping at 107. It seems like its falling off around 3rd to 4th gear but then again I guess 4.30's would do that. I personally like the car, but the convertible hasn't grown on me yet.

Snorman...calm down. We all recognize your Ford fan boy status here. I am not trying to "nitpik" your precious car. I simply read the link that was supplied in the original post regarding the tune the car had (not some associated story posted on the corral).

Again...I could really care less. As I posted before...it is impressive, but it's not earth shattering power. The ET came from the sixty foot.

I trapped 109 in a 2001 SS with fewer mods than that.

And you're telling him to calm down?

MMmmkay.

I simply read the link that was supplied in the original post regarding the tune the car had (not some associated story posted on the corral).
He (and I for that matter) was correcting an incorrect assumption.

Again...I could really care less.
Which is why you keep replying?

Nope, not earth-shattering. And correct - good ET typically comes from a good 60 ft.

PacerX....with 4.30s? My comment was directed towards KeVMaN's comment.

Nopers... my girlie-man 3.42's in a glass-jaw 10-bolt. I was too scared of blowing up the rear end and having to walk a LONG way home to even put DR's on.

But I did OK for a hack.

PS - I took no offense, just trying to contirbute to the joy-joy feelings in the thread.

I agree, 108 is kind of high with 4.10's.

Don't forget about Nitin going 11.9X/114 in his WS6 way back in 01 with Lid, Cutout,4.10's, and little more.

So. That means nothing to me because I hate the exterior and the interior.

pshhh, I along with others witnessed a guy run 12.8@110 in a 2001 SS with just removed filter and stock tire's at Hallsville. Its a nice ET but nothing a LS1 driver should have too much trouble with Saturday nights out at the cruising strip, especially if said driver has lid, catback/cutout, all for under $400. This not to mention the fact that the $1000 has just voided your factory warranty on the drivetrain at 90% of Ford dealerships.

108.1 was my best. For the most part I'm usually between 107.7-107.9. I was actually a little dissapointed when I've seen peoples sig's with higher mph with close to the same or less mods.

Stock is one thing but 4.10's and his mods would make his et drop but his speed would also.
