saw a nice 2005 GT nothing special about it, just said wow its that light metalic green color and saw it was a GT and looked at the plate..Manufactureres plate??? and pulled next to it and the guy was on his cell phone..why would they be driving a michingan MP car down to Orlando?? and it was right nextto Universal??

They have a not so secret huge proving ground down there. A lot of the spy shots that were out before the release were taken in that area.

No lie. From what I recall its on "the edge of town" somewhere. I know nothing about Florida myself but I am sure someone here can help. Another alternative is to go to themustangsource.com and ask there.

 

There's a 2005 Mustang GT on my college campus. It is pretty cool looking, they need to park by one of the old '60s Mustangs on campus though. It looks a little out of place next to round cars.

What is stranger is that there is a new-ish Alfa Romeo on campus. They don't even sell those in the US O_o. It's ugly and all, but still interesting.

 

actually they do...there was an alfa romeo/ aston martin dealer im Boston that also sold used exotics..they had a 427 Cobra sitting in the showroom for the longest time ...

I know of a plant that makes Ford powered big rigs but nothing of a proving ground. hmmmmmmm. Might have to look into that..............

GM has a proving ground here too. It sits right in the middle of Epcot

 

Fords proing grounds are in Michigan, Arizona and Florida. Remember that early pic everyone thought was a cobra? That was taken near the Florida proving ground.
