btw they list the mustang gt/cobra

as a competitor. i thought thats what it wasn't going after.

It is old new...but I think this is the first official thing from GM we have seen. Nice to see it will be rated at 400HP

Yeah they will, but who wants an 04 when the 05 is so much more badass!!

But then you'll have to wait till 06 for the 05s to be cheap enuf

I dont think that the price will go up if at all. the Gen IV small block will be shared by all Holdens, on top of the fact that the GTO now costs less then a base V8 Monaro. What might cost more is the "have to have" scoops

Glad to see there's more than just engine changes. It should help. Let's just hope it's not too late and the 04's (with associated problems) haven't given the GTO a bad image.
