Re: 2005 GTO changes?

Yeah, news has been out for some time, but Ill catch you up.

GTO gets optional hood scoop'ed hood, LS2 engine standard, larger brakes, as well as dual side exhaust. It also gets a revised rear end to fit the dual side exhaust. It always had dual exhaust, just to one side. Teh LS2 will be rated at 400hp. No news about any price changes, but dont expect any wild increases.

Re: 2005 GTO changes?

thats amazing. yea i knew it was dual before it was just one sided. i think it will look better with one pipe on each side. i used to be skeptical about that car but now i want one just about as bad as a new Vette. think of the possibilities...

if its going to be a continuing trend that new cars are getting faster and faster (new Vette is faster than many Ferraris, yet has not received its LS7 engine yet), along with the new GTO, Dodge Magnum, Dodge SRT series, Ford's reinvention of the GT, new Mustang GTs. If thats a glimpse of what is to come then our dreams of modern muscle cars with technology will soon be answered.

will the seats in the 2005 be easier to access? rumor is that its a pain to let someone in the back seat.
