2005 GT next to 2004 GT

They're worlds apart, just as many here can easily tell the difference between a GTO and a Grand Prix. Some people only see what they want to see. I'm not slamming anyone, so don't get your panties in a knot. It's just amusing to me.

But, yes, yes.... we know... the 2005 Mustang is not retro at all, and it looks more like the 2004 Mustang than any other. Wait-a-minute... What's that sound? "Dee plane! Dee plane!!" ~ Tattoo, Fantasy Island.

So, not sure where that came from. BTW, look at this
Seriously, besides there being four lights on the front, there's not a whole lot that's the same as the 2005 GT.

I'm really thinking about going, since it's not even 20 miles from me. And it's only $5 to get in. (The F-body gathering was free.

Edit: I may drive the El Camino so I'll be easier to spot if any other board members are there.

I expect we'll even get some more mustangs than usual too due to the celebration being in town.

That may be the best Star Trek movie ever made. He played that part soooo well. Did you see the original series TV episode with him and how that all started?

Ya, I don't wanna knock this too far off topic, but ya, ST II is the bets of the entire series!!
It's just full of great lines and stuff! Ricardo was sporting the cool long hair in the original series episode where he debuted waaaay back when!
Wrath of Kahn is hands down the best, and I like #1 better than most too.
in #2, Shatner still can act, and he hasn't begun to gain weight and generally become a charicature of himself. Its got drama, humor, space battles, lots of gratuitous shots of the beautiful Movie Enterprise (best looking ship of all the generations IMO).
Now we're WAYYYY off topic

Also, the STII and on uniforms were the best.
(I'm in full dork mode now.
)
What made those movies great was that the space scenes were done with models and not computer animation. CGI has come a long way but ultimately there is a texture and realism you get with the models that CGI cannot simulate....but its cheaper so that's what we get these days.
ST: Nemesis suffered from too much CGI I thought...was like watching The Last Starfighter or something...
ST6 Undiscovered Country was a great plot, and a decent film, they were all just too old to be taken seriously at that point. I like TNG but they never really got the great script in the movies except for the Borg one. Still doesn't approach the "epic" feel of STII.
ok...I'm done....back to how much the Mustang Sucks!!!!
