I can't believe they want to use it to bring excitment back. Excitment?! Yeah right LOL, whatever. Its gonna do the exact opposite. And they are planning to lose money on them to do it?! Maybe its time we get some1 other than B.L. in there??

 

The SSR was never meant to go after the lightning whatsoever. That will be the SWB Silverado SS Normal Cab's job, if they ever bring out the thing. Performance first, flashy looks second.

The SSR is meant to appeal to mid-life crisis husbands of soccer moms. There is no real Fomoco equivalent. The idea is: flashy looks first, performance second. Not necessarily a good general purpose mentality but in this case it will do fine.

 

Man that thing is squared off on the edges. Too pointy for my taste, along with the Star Wars Imperial Force logo inspired rims. I do like the lights though, those are cool looking. 500 hp is scary, I wonder what they have instore for future Cobras...

 

Look at that pic of that new Lightning closely, especially around the side glass area. Is it an extended cab?

do you work for GM?any crappy thing they come out with,you jump to defend it.we're not comparing this POS with a "REAL" truck like the lightning,we're simply making fun of it,because it's slow,overpriced,and ugly,but you just know some idiot is going to pay full price+markup on these things.

Looks like the GT-40 motor. Atleast the Valve covers look the same.

HuJass, no it isn't an extended cab. The small pillar makes it look that way but it isn't.
