Greed's already in place. I went down to inquire about what's needed to land one, and there's a pretty sizeable deposit just to get on the list. That's in addition to the price. To top it off, the price isn't frozen yet. The dealers can still charge what they want for it (so far).

Seems I may have to wait for 2006, since I don't think 1 year old ones will depriciate at all being so limited.

Hmmmmm... No White.

That is somewhat odd considering how white is pretty standard on just about all cars...

Morpheus over on the GTO page on LS1.com had this info posted months ago.
He works at a Pontiac dealership. He's the guy who gets to order all the dealerships new cars. He also received a brochure with the actual colors of the GTO in it. He said you should be able to go to any larger Pontiac dealership and ask to see it.

The deep purple Cosmo colour wil probably be similar to the Monaro Colour Purple haze, if not exactly the same.

You can see pics of this colour, and the matching interior, here:

I've got a hunch that Light Blue will be by far the rarest color.. for you people out there who want to store one for 20 years and make money off of it, that would be the color to have. Followed by Silver.

The series one Monaro has Orange but it didn't sell it was scrapped at series two..

That is somewhat odd considering how white is pretty standard on just about all cars...
Not really as you said "standard" you have the bright colours to make it stand out... Also looking at white Commodores here (standard fleet car and cop cars) white doesn't look the greatest on this car..
