How long after the debut of the Camaro Concept will GM/Chevy officially announce if they will or will not manufacture the Camaro???

Also, what will determine the decision either way???

 

both depend on reaction to the design concept we will see at the shows. the bigger the impact it makes, the quicker it will get the green light.

I've been screaming since late 2001. Scott's witnessed me whining at BG twice in 3 years. When Scott asked for the "homework assignment" last summer, I sent him a 7 page letter about "what Camaro means to me."

I'm screaming everywhere I can. If I can get to Detroit in January (finances are gonna make that tough...), I'll scream some more there, too

Ok seriously we need to keep writing GM and when it comes out point them in the right direction with lots of feedback. O yea and buy the car ASAP!

 

At the stage things seem to be at right now, I have a hard time imagining anything short of a meteor strike, or a complete breakdown of western society capable of killing things now.

Remember the "old" RWD coupe plans before GM's meltdown earlier this year? Seems much of the plan (save the timeline) is still intact.

 

At first I was all about us getting everyone else excited. Then I thought about it....Why should we market a car for them?

But I'm just grumpy today.

 

Nobody in the winkie club gonna step up and offer a guestimated answer to the original question?

 

Nobody in the "winkie club" knows this answer because crystal ***** are for gypsies (sp? I don't believe I've ever typed, much less spoken, that word).

That being said, we all know that there are many variables that effect if/when a concept is produced. If it is decied to proceed, I don't think there will be an "official" statement until around 6-12 months before production. We will all know much sooner due to leaks though.
