So "bold moves" and "way forward" reallly means rehashing yester years' land barge?

:blah:

Having seen the front I kind of like it, which is more than I said about the 300 the first time I saw it.

We'll see if they build anything that resembles it.

This is the 427 if anyone missed it.

I can see the resemblance, but the Interceptor seems a much better effort, the 427 seems almost as bland as the 500.

to me that looks nothing like the 300 or the Charger now..after seeing it for a while.

Its the same market sure. If its a rip then its like saying the Mustang and the Camaro are the same..sure they are..same market, same type of car. Its like Caddy and Linc. not having two lixury cars, Town car and DTS..both the same market..
I think Ford needs to put this car into production. get the face ready for it and you got a hit.

I think it looks great overall. A step in the right direction for Ford.
The profile is awesome. The front & rear ends need to be re-worked. They are too boxy.
The hoodline needs to be dropped to the lower line as it progresses to the nose and with a little more inward taper. Then, put the more current Ford nose on it.
The rear end needs more taper and then the tail needs to be totally redone.

I can see the 300 in this car.

Kinda the impression I get, not too difficult to see where the design idea came from.

I think once it has been de-conceptified it would be a very attractive production car.

But I'm more interested in that junkyard with the Fox Theater sign -- is that a set, or is that stuff lying around somewhere in Detriot?

To me it looks like a WM Statesman in profile view... I guess that means I love it!

Ford, please build it, for your own sake!

I really things Ford's are over designed any more. Look at the great Ford of the past, and they were great designs...but they were not nearly as ornamental or fancy pants.

I'm glad they did this. Even if it is likely to be dilluted a little by the time it is for sale. It means that when I'm on the highway, I will be able to tell and American Sedan from a foreign one without having to read the badge. Way to get Bold Ford!
