05 GTO to have Ram Air option?

Guys, this may have already been mentioned here but if not take it with a grain of salt... I read the following message on the ClassicalPontiac.com board:

"My Question:
Please add a Ram Air option. Having two snorkel scoops on top of that hood
would really make it look a lot tougher.
Thanks, Jarod

Bob Reply:
Dear Jarod:

It simply wasn't doable in the time, but is in the program for '05 model.
I'm going to ask the "Performance Parts" guys if they could do an
aftermarket hood or "insertable" scoops for the '04.

Bob "

If true this would be a welcome addition to the rather bland styling of the new GTO. I guess time will tell...

I'm sure there will be scoops you can add to the car. From GM or otherwise.

Hell, maybe they'll be a dealer option, that way everyone can be all happy that they get the stuff "stock" since people seem to be afraid to mod cars (otherwise they wouldn't say the GTO was so horrible because it's understated).

You can always add your own scoops/spoilers/hood tachs/etc, it's just a lot harder to take that crap off.

this car will look hot with a Ram Air hood, SLP and other companies have 10 months to make one. Won't a holden hood work on this car? onlty the bumper cover is different right

it'd need a redesign of the Holden intake system, as it curves away to take air from behind the drivers side headlight (US drivers side) ...

I/m sorry but I read a similar post on Ls1.com with a slightly different version of the email and I doubt that Mr. Lutz has time to respond to everyone's smails especially from the general public who will leak information to everyone on enthusiasts sites. I'm sorry but I call this BS. not the poster but the original post.
