On pontiacs website it says that the packages will be available on the black, red, and silver colors. Anyone want to take a guess?

Also, do you think that the hood scoops will need to be on the car for the appearance package? I like it fine without the scoops, but that's my opinion.

 

Im pretty sure it was stated the hood is on the car not the apperance package. I read you can have it or the regular hood, but I was unclear if it cost extra for either... pretty sure the scooped hood is part of the 05's sticker price. $2,900ish I heard for the apperance package, although I think it looks much better without it.

 

I've also heard in the $3k range for the appearance package. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the hood w/ scoops is a no cost option.

Does anyone have some pics of cars w/ the app. package? Pontiacs website doesn't have squat...

The biggest problem I have with the GTO is that the wheels suck. Anyone who gets a GTO needs to get a some 18x9.5 inch wheels (at least) on it ASAP!!!


Either a set of 2004 Vette Zo6 wheels or a set of the upcoming 2006 Vette Zo6 wheels would look nice IMO.

 

On the back of Car and Driver, the ad states that the GTO's Appearance Package will include 18 inch rims. Thats the first I heard of Pontiac saying that.

 

Dealers (after receiving an incorrect message stating the package was cancelled) will be offering the package for $2,995 and is a dealer-installed option. It comes pre-painted in those 3 colors, however you can also order it primed if you want a different color.

Suppoesdly it will not work on an '04. However, to me if you bought an '05 rear bumper for your '04, there is no reason I can see why it wouldn't work. The 18s will be a mid-year option from what I have heard so far, after hearing those had been canned as well...

 

Wow thats pretty expensive. And that bums me out about it not fitting on 04's Also doesnt make much sense. I was thinking of getting the bumper on my future 04.
