When is NITTO coming out with 315's??????

I was wondering when Nitto is going to come out with their new 555R extreme 2's in more than one size. They currently only make a 275, but I need a 295 and a 315. Are they going to make these, or am I SOL?? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Brian

I'm talking about the Road Racing 555R Extreme II's.

Thumbs down

I have the 275s and one of them had a really bad RFV number and it took Nitto the better part of six months to send me a replacement They should get those problems worked out before they start making additional sizes

Excuse me for my ignorance, but what is an RVF number?

RFV= Radial Force Variation

Tires with high RFV numbers are basically out of round and can vibrate at speed. Check out this website for more information:

Both sets (8 tires) of 555RII's that I have had rode smooth and balanced fine. Sorry to hear about the bad tire.

I bought eight of the tires too and only had problems with the one. The problem with the tire itself wasn't that big of a deal for me, but the time it took Nitto to send another one to me was totally unacceptable. They were harassing me about giving them the tread depth before they'd send another (assuming I had worn the tire out) and I kept telling them I drove it straight from the shop to my house and didn't plan to drive it again until I got the new tire. It still had the nubs all over it.

They also made a big deal out of making sure I'd send the other tire back, but when the new tire finally showed up, they told us not to bother sending back the other one. Apparently, they aren't interested in finding out why the tire was defective
