what type of Bilsteins?

i am confused as to the different types of bilstein shocks on the market. on www.tbyrne.com i see they sell reg. bilsteins and then SLP bilsteins. the SLP's are a bit less aggressive, ie softer, according to the page's info.

NOW
what are these bilstein HD's that i always hear about? are those the regular ones listed on tbyrne?

i'm building my Z's suspension and i already have stb, phb, lca's and 32/21mm solid sway bars. i'm planning for some sfc in the next 2 months. i also have a set of 1LE springs ready to go in and i'm researching for the shocks so i can do them at the same time.

any help wold be appreciated.

Bilstein HDs are valved for stock springs, but alot of people use them with aftermarket stuff, it all depends on how picky/snobby you are as far as paying to get them revalved or not.

The SLP Bilsteins are valved for thier 300-450# lowering springs, I think they are .75" lower than stock fronts. The bump is less, as far as the linearity you'd have to put it on a shock dyno, thats something for Sam to comment on.
