Are there camera mounts for our car?

Just wanted to know if there are any camera mounts that don't need a rollbar/cage to work. I have t tops if that matters. Thanks

Not that I am aware of. I saw a homemade one that mounted just in front of the back glass from the roof, but not sure how it was mounted.

I saw a guy run a setup where we removed the rear seats and seat belts and a harness bar bolted to where the belts went. It looked clean and he mounted his camera on that bar.

im working on a mount that is held in place by your head rests. im not sure how stable the video will be, seems like the seats dont wobble all that much.

I'm biulding one for myself that mounts to the middle brake light. There's 2 screws there that would seem perfect to screw a mount on. I just have to make sure these screws go all the way down into the chassis before I begin.

I believe RK Sport had one for sale that mounted to the roll-cage cross-bar. I know a guy that used one like that to mount a video cam behind and between the front seats. (to the cross-bar that made his hoop NHRA legal... I doubt this would work as well for a diagonal support if that's all you have).

As for going cage-less... I've never seen anthing "bolt-on" per say.

Havent seen one of these live in action, but it looks like they have used and abused it pretty well...

Saw a guy who had one of these at Road America a couple years back, and it made some great pictures.

Enjoy!
